Organized in 1957, the Bay Ridge Rescue Squad, Inc. is one of three emergency squads serving the residents and visitors of the Town of Queensbury, which is located in southern Warren County, NY.  Our primary coverage area is the Bay Ridge and South Queensbury Fire Districts.  We currently operate two Advance Life Support (ALS) ambulances, one ALS Medic 1st Response Unit and one Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) Operations Unit out of our station. In order to assure adequate daytime staffing, our volunteers are supplemented by paid personnel from 6am – 6pm.

Joining the Bay Ridge Rescue Squad is easy and new applicants are always welcome! Feel free to contact Kristal Washburn (kristalwashburn@yahoo.com) for an application or questions. You may also print off an application from this website or stop by the station to pick one up and take a look around.

  Our monthly drill is held the 1st Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM and all EMS providers are welcome! Please see the 2010 training schedule in this site!

  Our monthly meeting is held the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM. 

The Bay Ridge Rescue Squad is dispatched by the Warren County Sheriff’s Department on the Fire Alert frequency 154.175 MHz and communicates with EMS Control on the EMS Control frequency 155.295 MHz.  Additionally, the Bay Ridge Rescue Squad holds FCC licenses to operate two frequencies to be used for squad activities…they are 159.600 MHz which is designated “BRRS-RPT”and 155.160 MHz which is designated “BRRS-OPS”.
